Hanukkah Torah with Rabbi Anna

You Shine! Talmud teaches that the world, and mankind were created in the fall, on the 25th of Elul. Adam, as the first man, experienced days only getting darker and darker. He feared that the world was being destroyed because of his transgression. He fasted and repented 8 days as the world descended into its darkest days. The light then began to increase again, and thus Hanukkah was first celebrated. Connect with tradition, your best self, be kind to yourself and others through finals. Soon, the light will increase.
