Jewish Student Life

The student experience presents unlimited opportunities for embodying Jewish ideas, ethics, and practice;

our Hillel brings these opportunities to life at University of Chicago.

Students come to the University of Chicago from across the country and around the world, representing a remarkable spectrum of Jewish identities and experiences. We uphold the authenticity of students from all backgrounds:

Sephardi and Ashkenazi, Conservative, Orthodox, Reform, Reconstructionist, and post-denominational.

We recognize that students thrive when they have access to friends with similar life experience as well as

the opportunity to grow when they encounter difference.

Get Involved

We provide programming and opportunities to assure that every student on the University of Chicago's

campus is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life and learning.
